Knitting Kit Jolie – Surprise Box Jolie 50% Cotton 4-ply, 1,500m

You will receive a box made of sturdy cardboard with 6 bobbins, 4-ply, each with a running length of 250 m.
In total, you will receive 1,500 m of yarn. 50% cotton, 50% polyacrylic.
Each bobbin is numbered so you always know exactly which one you need.

The individual threads of the bobbins are not twisted but run parallel to each other.

We will send you the "Wunderkiste" (wonder box). The pattern for the "Jolie" knitted shawl will be sent to you as a PDF (download link in your order confirmation email).

Required skills:
– Casting on stitches
– Knit stitches
– Slip purlwise
– Knit through back loop
– Short rows
– Picking up new stitches at the end of a row

The pattern is explained in writing and schematically. Some basic knowledge – for example, on how to work short rows – is recommended.

For orientation: for the scarf shown, we worked 9 sections/triangles. This results in a shawl with a wingspan of a good 2.00 m and a depth of approx. 0.40 m (without tassels).
With a "Wunderkiste" containing 6 x 250 m = 1,500 m of 4-ply yarn, you could extend the shawl by another 3 sections to a length of approx. 2.50 m.
