Uni-Bobbel 100% Merino

We wind the yarn cakes with 4 strands in our factory. They are made from high-quality industrial yarn (100% merino).

The individual threads of the yarn cakes are not twisted, but run alongside each other (plied).

A solid-color yarn cake has no color gradient. It is a yarn cake with only one color.

Please note that the finished product must be washed after processing to achieve its wonderfully fluffy properties.
When working with the merino yarn cake, do not work too tightly. Use a needle size approximately half to one size larger than usual so that the finished piece is nice and loose.
It must then be washed.
In the photo, you can see the difference between the freshly knitted and the washed product.
It is important to wash the product cold and by hand. To dry, it should then be laid flat and gently stretched.
Caution: if washed too warmly or improperly, the finished product may shrink or felt.

If you choose a glitter accompanying thread, it is composed of: PM62% PA38% (PM – polyester metallized, PA polyamide).

Needle size:

approx. 3.00 – 4.0 mm

Use:

Scarves, shawls, stoles, wraps, shirts, sweaters, blankets,…

Required amount for a triangular scarf:

Crocheted: approx. 850 m to over 1,250 m for a shoulder wrap

Knitted: approx. 650 m to over 1,000 m for a shoulder wrap

Our "Bobbel" each have a running length of 1000 m.
